Add a New Bank Account

Navigation: Client Administration > Add a New Client > Banking > Add a New Bank Account

This screen allows you to capture the details for a new bank account for a client.

Integration Partners: If you use a third-party Collection Services Provider (e.g., Allps, RealPay, SureSystems), please refer to their specific integration guides for important information before adding bank accounts.

This table details each field on the "Add a New Bank Account" screen.

Field Name	Description & Rules
Enabled	Select this checkbox if the bank account is currently active and in use.
Preferred Choice	Select this checkbox if this is the client's primary account for receiving loan payouts or making repayments.
Payback Account	Select this checkbox if this account will be used for the client's loan instalment repayments. If this is the main repayment account, also select Preferred Choice.
Payout Account	Select this checkbox if this account will be used for disbursing loan funds to the client. If this is the main disbursement account, also select Preferred Choice.

Field Name	Description & Rules
Bank	Select the client's bank from the dropdown list. The available banks are based on the country where your company is registered.
Branch Search	To find the branch code, enter it here and click Search. If you do not know the code, you can enter an asterisk (``) and click Search* to see a list of all branches for the selected bank.
Branch Select	This field will populate with the branch you selected from the search results.
Branch Code	This field will automatically display the code of the branch you selected.

Field Name	Description & Rules
Bank Account Type	Select the type of account (e.g., Cheque, Savings) from the dropdown list.
Bank Account Number	Enter the client's bank account number.
Bank Card BIN	Enter the first six digits of the PAN/Card number from the front of the client's bank card (e.g., `528497`). The system will mask the remaining digits for security (e.g., `528497******4692`).
Bank Card Sequence	Enter the last four digits of the bank card number.
Bank Account Limit	Optional: Enter the daily transaction limit on the account if this information is available.
Bank Card Expiry Date	Enter the card's expiry date, usually found on the front of the card. Use the format `dd/mm/yyyy`. If the day is not specified on the card, use "01".

Field Name	Description & Rules
Perform CDV Verification	This checkbox initiates a CDV check on the account number to confirm its validity. This is available for South Africa and Namibia.
Perform AVR Verification	This checkbox must be selected to perform an Automated Verification Response (AVR) check. If you do not wish to perform this check, click the Cancel button instead of Save.

You will receive an error message if you try to save without completing the following required fields:

Bank Name: If this field is empty, an error will appear. You must select a bank from the dropdown list.
Bank Account Type: If this field is empty, an error will appear. You must select an account type from the dropdown list.

Save: Click this button to store the new bank account information in the system. Verification checks (CDV, AVR) will be initiated if selected.
Cancel: Click this button to discard all information entered and return to the previous screen without saving.
