Reports Setup: Automatic Email

This section explains how to configure MAXMONEY to automatically email long-running reports to users once they've finished processing.


Overview

Certain reports in MAXMONEY involve complex calculations and can take longer to generate than standard reports. While these reports are processing, you can monitor their progress by navigating to MAXMONEY > Processing Status.

A convenient feature allows you to continue working in MAXMONEY while these reports run in the background. Once a report is complete, the system can automatically email it to you.


Enabling Automatic Email for Reports

To enable the automatic emailing of reports:

  1. Navigate to MAXMONEY > Setups > Security > Roles.

  2. Select the relevant role that requires this functionality.

  3. Check the box next to the “Automatic Email Report” resource.


Confirming User Email Address

For reports to be successfully emailed, the user's email address must be correctly recorded in MAXMONEY.

  1. Go to MAXMONEY > Setups > Security > Users.

  2. Edit the user's profile.

  3. Ensure the “E-mail Address” field is accurately filled in.
