Client Administration: The 'Address' Screen

This screen is used to capture the client's physical address, postal address, and contact information.

Field Reference Guide

This table details each field on the "Address" screen.

Physical Address

Field Name Description & Rules
Physical Address Line 1, 2, 3 Enter the client's full physical street address. For data sharing this may only contain characters A-Z, 0-9, may not contain words such as "unknown", "as above", "NA".
For data sharing, if a street address is supplied then line 1 must be the street name and number, line 2 must be the suburb and line 3 must be the city.
For data sharing, if a building address is supplied, then line 1 must be the building number and name, line 2 must be the street name and number and line 3 must be the suburb. 
Physical Address Province Select the province where the client resides.
Physical Address Area Select the specific area (suburb or town). This list must be pre-configured by a Group Setup Administrator (GSA).
Address Code Enter the physical address code. Note for Namibia: The default code "9000" will be automatically entered .

Address History & Ownership

Field Name Description & Rules
Ownership Select the client's property ownership status from the dropdown list (e.g., Owner, Tenant).
Period at Current Address Enter the number of years the client has lived at their current address.
Period at Previous Address Enter the number of years the client lived at their previous address.

Postal Address

Field Name Description & Rules
Postal Address Line 1, 2, 3 Enter the client's full postal address (e.g., PO Box number). For data sharing this may only contain characters A-Z, 0-9, may not contain words such as "unknown", "as above", "NA". 
Postal Address line 1: For data sharing this must be PO Box or Private Bag and the number.
Postal Address line 2: For data sharing this must be the suburb.
Postal Address line 3: For data sharing this must be the city.
Postal Address Province Select the province. The options available depend on the country of your legal entity.
Postal Address Area Select the postal area. This list is managed by a GSA.
Postal Code Enter the postal code. Note for Namibia: The default code "9000" will be automatically entered.

Contact Information

Field Name Description & Rules
Home Telephone Number Enter the client's landline number. If they do not have one, leave this blank and select the checkbox below.
Home Telephone Number not Available Select this checkbox if the client does not have a home telephone number.
Cellphone Number Enter the client's cellphone number. For South African numbers, this must be 10 digits.
Cellphone Number not Available Select this checkbox if the client does not have a cellphone number.
Fax Number Enter the client's fax number, if available.
E-mail Address Enter the client's primary email address.

Enrolling a Client for MAXSMS (OTP Verification)

If your company uses the MAXSMS module, you can enrol clients to receive One-Time Pins (OTPs) for added security on actions like creating new loans.

How to Enrol a Client

  1. Enter the client's correct Cellphone Number in the field provided.
  2. Click the Save button to store the number in the system first. This is a mandatory step before enrolment can begin.
  3. Click the Enrol Client button.
  4. The client will receive an SMS containing an OTP. The message will be similar to: "Hi [Username]. Here's your TechnoMetrix Client Enrolment OTP to validate your cellphone number [number]."
  5. Enter the OTP that the client received into the verification field on the screen.
  6. Click Verify.
    • If you need the code resent, click Resend via SMS.
    • To exit without enrolling, click Cancel.
  7. Once the OTP is verified, the client is successfully enrolled. Their cellphone number will be locked and cannot be easily changed, preventing fraud.
