How to Print or Email a Client Letter

Overview

After you have selected a specific letter to generate for a client, the system takes you to a final screen where you can download, print, or email the completed document.


1. How to Generate and Print the Letter

  1. Generate the Letter: This screen appears after you have navigated to the client's Letters function and selected a specific letter template (e.g., "Settlement Letter").

  2. Download and View: Click on the hyperlink provided. The name will reflect the document type, for example: "HTML: Client Letter".

    • HTML: Opens the document directly in your web browser for easy viewing and printing.
    • PDF: Some letters may offer a PDF format, which is ideal for saving, faxing, or emailing as an attachment.
  3. Print the Document:

    • Once the letter is open, use your browser's or PDF reader's standard print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) to create a physical copy.

2. How to Email the Letter

You can email the generated letter directly from the system.

Prerequisites (Administrator Setup): For this feature to work, your System Administrator must have configured the following:

Steps to Email: On the report generation screen, simply click the Email Report button. The system will send the letter to the pre-configured email address.
