Create a Payback Instruction

1. Overview

This process allows you to create a new electronic collection instruction for a loan. This instruction, known as a payback instruction, is sent to a Credit Settlement Provider (CSP) to manage the automated collection of repayments from a client's bank account.

Before creating a payback instruction, ensure the following requirements are met:


3. Procedure to Create an Instruction

Step 1: Navigation
  1. Navigate to Client Administration and search for the existing client.
  2. Select (highlight) the client and click the Loans button.
  3. From the client's loan list, click the Create Payback Instruction button.

Note: You can create a payback instruction for a loan even if its status is "Non-Performing."

Step 2: Complete the Instruction Details

Fill in the following fields to define the new instruction:

Field Description
Payback Type Select the method of repayment (e.g., Debit Order) from the drop-down list.
Preferred Bank Account The client's preferred bank account details will automatically appear here.
Preferred CSP Select the desired Credit Settlement Provider from the drop-down list.
Preferred CSP Setup The configuration details for the selected CSP will be displayed here automatically.
Action Time The specific time for the collection attempt. For Real Pay integration, this may be automatically populated.
Tracking Select the desired tracking option (i.e., the rules for re-attempting a failed collection) from the drop-down list .
Step 3: Generate Documents

Once all fields are completed, click the Next button to proceed. The system will generate the following documents:

On the final screen, you have the following options:

Payback Instruction Mandate (Link) Click the blue hyperlink to open, review, and print the mandate document.
Back to Loan List Click this button to return to the client's loan list screen .
