Reactivate a Written-Off Loan

1. Overview

This feature allows you to change a loan's status from "Written-Off" back to "Active." This is typically used when you have made an arrangement with the client to resume payments on a loan that was previously considered uncollectible.

Note: The availability of this feature may be restricted based on regional or country-specific regulations.

2. Procedure to Reactivate a Loan

  1. Navigate to the client's loan portfolio.
  2. From the list of loans, highlight the specific loan account that has been "Written-Off."
  3. Click the Reactivate Written Off Loan button. A new screen will appear.

3. Completing the Reactivation

On the reactivation screen, you will be prompted to confirm the action.

Field/Button Description
Transaction Date Enter the date for the transaction. This will default to today's date.
Reactivate Loan Click this button to proceed. The loan status will change from Written-Off to Active.
Cancel Click this button to exit the screen without making any changes .
