How to Edit a Payback Instruction Instalment

Navigation: Client Administration > Search for Existing Client > Payback Instructions > Payback Instruction Instalments > Edit Payback Instruction Instalment

Overview

This screen allows you to modify the details of a single, specific instalment within a payment collection instruction. You can cancel the instalment, change its collection date, or adjust the tracking period.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the Instalments Screen: Go to the client's Payback Instruction Instalments screen for the relevant instruction.
  2. Select the Instalment: From the list, click on the individual instalment you wish to modify to highlight it.
  3. Open the Edit Screen: Click the Edit Payback Instruction Instalment button. This will open the details screen for that single instalment.
  4. Update the Details: Make the necessary changes in the fields provided (see the Field Reference Guide below).
  5. Save Your Changes: Click the Save button to apply your updates.

Editable Fields

Field Name Description & Rules
Status Select a new status from the dropdown list to manage the instalment (e.g., change it to "Cancelled" or "Disabled").
Tracking Date This is the scheduled collection date. Click the "select" button to use the calendar and choose a new date.
Action Time You can update the specific time for the collection action.
Tracking You can update the number of days the bank should track the client's account for this specific instalment.

Read-Only Field

Field Name Description & Rules
Amount This field displays the monetary value of the instalment. Note: This amount cannot be changed here .

Record Details (Audit Trail)

This section provides a read-only log of when the instalment was created and last modified.
