Adding
a 3rd Party Beneficiary Payment
Overview
This screen or pop-up window is where you capture
the specific details for a single payment that will be made to a third party
from the loan's proceeds. You will complete this step for each individual
beneficiary payment you need to add to the loan.
Accessing this Screen
- Navigate to the 3rd Party
Payments step within the New Loan
wizard.
- Click the "Add a New Payment to a 3rd
Party Beneficiary" button.
Field Descriptions
A form will appear for you to enter the payment
details. Fields highlighted in yellow are mandatory.
- 3rd party beneficiary: Enter the full name of
the person or company receiving the payment (e.g., "Vodacom", "Edgars").
- Payment to Beneficiary: Select the appropriate
financial event or payment type from the dropdown list.
- Amount: Enter the exact amount to be paid to
this specific beneficiary.
- Reference: (Optional) Enter a reference for the
payment, such as a client account number or an invoice number.
- Description: (Optional) Enter
a short description for your records.
Available Actions
(Buttons)
- Save: Click this button to confirm the details.
The payment will be added to the summary list on the main "3rd Party Payments"
screen, and the form will close.
- Cancel: Click this button to
discard the details you have entered and close the form without adding the
payment.
Additional Information
- Multiple Payments: You can repeat this process
to add several different third-party payments to a single loan.
- Sorting: On the main "3rd Party Payments"
screen, the list of added beneficiaries will be displayed in alphabetical
order.
- Document Integration: The
system supports document tokens that can automatically insert the details of
up to five different beneficiaries into the final loan agreement.
