Technometrix(OTP)
This is a critical security step that provides a
final, electronic verification of the loan terms by the client. The process uses
a One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to the client's cellphone to create a legally binding
electronic signature on the loan agreement. This validation can be performed on
loans with an "Application" or "Active" status. This process is initiated from the New
Loan Summary screen. This is the primary method for validating the
loan with the client. Receive OTP: Upon initiating
the validation, the system sends an SMS containing a unique OTP to the
client's registered cellphone number. The message will be similar to this: "You are applying for a loan. {Client
Account number} {Loan Amount}. Your TechnoMetrix confirmation OTP is {OTP}.
To proceed with the contract supply it to {Legal Entity
Name}" Enter OTP: Ask the client for
the OTP they received and enter it into the Verify
field. Validate: Click the
Verify button. If the OTP is correct, the validation is
successful. Finalize Loan: The validation
window will close, and the Finish button on the main loan
summary screen will become active, allowing you to complete the loan
creation. If the client does not receive the OTP or it
fails, you have the following options. This option should only be used if the OTP
process cannot be completed. An authorized user, typically a supervisor, must
perform the override. WARNING: Critical Impact of User
Override The text that appears on the final document
depends on how the loan was validated. If validated with the Client's
OTP: The signature line will read: Electronically signed on {Date} at {Time} by
{ClientFullName} {ClientSurname} {ClientIDNo}, cellphone no
{ClientCellNo} If validated with a User
Override: The signature line will read: Loan Administered By {UserName-CreateLoan}
on {Date} at {Time}, authorized by
{UserName-Override}New Loan: TechnoMetrix OTP
