Navigation: Client Administration > Search for an existing client > Highlight the client > Client Log button

Overview

The Client Log is a powerful audit trail that allows you to view a detailed history of important changes made to a selected client's profile. This is a critical tool for tracking data modifications, ensuring data integrity, and reviewing user activity on a client's account. A printable report version of this log is also available.

How to Access the Client Log

  1. Find and Select the Client: Navigate to Client Administration > Search for an existing client. Find the correct client and click on their name to highlight them.
  2. Open the Log: Click the Client Log button at the bottom of the screen.

Understanding the Client Log

The log displays a chronological list of all tracked changes made to the client's profile.

Columns Explained

Column Name Description
Field The name of the specific data field that was changed.
Original Value The value of the field before the change was made.
New Value The value of the field after the change was made.
Reason Any reason that was entered for why the change was made.
User The username of the person who made the change.
Date The date on which the change was made.
Time The time at which the change was made.
