Overview

This function is used to re-initiate the authentication process for a payback instruction that did not load successfully to the Collection Service Provider (CSP). If an instruction fails during the initial creation and authentication step, you can use this feature to try again without having to recreate the entire instruction from scratch.

How to Authenticate a Payback Instruction:

1. Navigate to Client Administration.
2. Search for and select the desired Existing Client.
3. Go to the Payback Instructions tab.
4. For the failed instruction, click on Authenticate.

Authentication Process

Once you initiate the authentication, the process will be similar to when you first created the payback instruction.

• You will be prompted to follow the specific authentication steps required by the CSP. This typically involves using a terminal or similar device to capture the client's confirmation.
• Follow all on-screen and on-device prompts to complete the authentication.
• Upon successful authentication, the system will update the status of the payback instruction, and it will be successfully loaded for collection with the CSP.
