Custom Message Setup
This section explains how to create and manage
custom email templates within the MAXMAIL module, which allows you to send
batches of emails.
Overview
MAXMAIL enables you to compose and save standard
email messages for your entity. These custom messages can be reused,
streamlining your email communication processes.
MAXMAIL Custom Messages
- Navigate to Setup > MAXMAIL >
Messages > MAXMAIL Custom Messages.
Message Description
You can add and modify custom messages here:
- Title: Give your message a
descriptive title (e.g., "Welcome Email," "Payment
Reminder").
- Type: Currently, only the
"CRM Email" option is available.
- Enable: Select this checkbox
to make the template available for use.
Message Detail
- Subject: Specify the
subject line for your email.
- Editor: Use the provided
editor to enter the content of your email template.
Actions
- Save: Click this button to
save your new template or any changes you've made.
- Cancel: Click this button to
discard any changes and exit without saving.
Test the Custom Message
To test how your email template will appear:
- Go to Setup > MAXMAIL > Messages
> MAXMAIL Message Setup Test.
- Client Number: Select a
test client. The email will be sent to this client's
registered email address.
- Message: Currently, only the
"MAXMAIL Custom Messages" option is available.
- Custom Message: Select the
specific template you wish to test from the dropdown
list.
- Cancel: Select this button to
stop the template testing process.
- Show: Select this button to
proceed with the testing of the template.
- Send Test to...: Select this
button to send the email to the specified test client's email
address.
