Data can be imported into MAXMONEY from another program:

• Branch
• Legal Entity

Data Preparation

Before data can be imported into MAXMONEY it has to be exported from its existing database.  The data must be exported into a specific format.  There are templates available that can be used when data is exported.

The data is send to Mycomax Support.  They will arrange that Mycomax's Database Administrator import the data on the back-end.  Data will be verified.  Errors will be printed and must be corrected before the data will appear on the MAXMONEY database.

A Mycomax Data Convert  Form must be filled in and signed by the Owner of the Legal Entity.  No DATA Convert will take place without the form. 

A few important notes:

• The Original Loan Number will be displayed on the update window of the Imported Loans.
• The Loan Transactions of Imported Loans will be stored in an Archive. To access this archive, go to the Loan Transactions on the Imported Loan.
  When selecting the Take On / Archive Loan Transaction, the Archive button at the bottom of the screen will be enabled.
  Click this button to view the archived Loan Transactions which are linked to the Loan Transaction.
• Imported Loans cannot be cancelled.
• Receipts: You will not be able to record a backdated receipt on an imported Loan if the Effective Date of the receipt is set prior to the date on which the Loan was imported.
  It will not give you an error, the Loan will just not form part of the Settlement Amount and its Instalments will be omitted during the calculation of the initial Amount to Allocate against Loans.
  When the receipt is recorded, the receipt will not be allocated against these Loans.
