Edit an Existing Employer

1. Overview

This guide explains how to find and modify the details of a client's employer record that is already saved in the system. The process involves two main stages: first searching for the employer, and then editing their information across the various sections of their profile.

Integration Note: If you are using Real Pay Integration in MAXMONEY, please follow the procedures outlined in the specific guide for that service.


2. Procedure to Find and Edit an Employer

Part A: Search for the Employer
  1. Navigate to the Search Screen

    • From the main menu, go to Employer > Search for Existing Employer.
  2. Enter Search Criteria

    • You can search for an employer by either their Employer Code or their Employer Name.
    • When searching by name, you can enter a partial or a full name.
  3. Initiate the Search

    • Click the Search button.
    • The search results will appear, sorted by the criterion you used (either Code or Name).
  4. Open the Employer Record

    • You have two options to open the employer's profile for editing:
      • Method 1: Click to highlight the correct employer in the list, then click the Edit Employer button.
      • Method 2: Simply double-click directly on the employer's name in the search results list.
