Printing the Client Loan Transaction
Detail Report
Overview
This comprehensive report provides a detailed
financial overview for a selected client. It consolidates the client's personal
details, a summary of each active loan, a full transaction history, and a list
of all outstanding instalments. This report is ideal for creating a complete
statement of account for a client.

- Navigate to Client
Administration.
- Search for and highlight the desired
Existing Client.
- Click the Loan Transaction
button.
Generating and Exporting the
Report
The report is designed to be generated in a
versatile spreadsheet format.
Output Format:
- Spreadsheet (XLS): Click the
hyperlink labeled "XLS: Client Loan Transaction Detail
Report" to download the report.
- This format allows you
to open the report in applications like Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice.
- Once in a spreadsheet, you can easily sort,
filter, and analyze the data to meet specific business needs or customize
the layout for printing.
Emailing the Report:
- You can email the generated report directly
from this screen by clicking the Email Report button.
- Prerequisite: For this
function to work correctly, a valid email address must be configured for the
user in the system settings.
Understanding the Report
Content
The report is divided into several sections,
providing a complete picture of the client's account.
1. Client Details This section
displays the client's primary information.
- Client Number: The client's unique system ID.
- Client Name & Surname: The full name of the
client.
- Client Identity Number: The client's national
identity number.
- Client Status: The current status of the client
(e.g., Active, Inactive).
- Bank: The name of the client's bank.
- Account Number: The client's bank account
number.
- Branch Code: The branch code for the client's
bank account.
- Physical Address: The physical
address recorded for the client.
2. Loan Details This section
repeats for each active loan the client has.
- Loan Number: The unique number for the loan.
- Agreement Number: The official agreement number
for the loan.
- Status: The current status of the loan (e.g.,
Active, Paid Up).
- Agreement Date: The date the loan agreement was
signed.
- Capital Amount: The principal amount of the
loan.
- Interest Charged: The total interest applied to
the loan.
- Loan Total: The total amount repayable (Capital
+ Interest).
- No of Interest Periods: The
number of periods over which interest is calculated (e.g., months).
3. Transaction History This
provides a chronological ledger of all transactions for each loan.
- Transaction Date: The date the transaction
occurred.
- Event Number: The system's internal event number
for the transaction.
- Reference: The reference number for the
transaction.
- Description: A short description of the
transaction (e.g., "Loan Payout," "Instalment Received").
- Amount: The value of the transaction.
- Total: The running balance on the loan after the
transaction.
- Record User: The user who recorded the
transaction.
- Record Date: The date the transaction was
entered into the system.
- Record Time: The time the
transaction was entered into the system.
4. Outstanding Instalment Detail
This lists all future or currently due instalments for each loan.
- Due Date: The date the instalment is scheduled
for payment.
- Description: A description of the instalment.
- Amount: The amount due for the instalment.
- Total: The total value of the instalment.
- Record User: The user who recorded the
transaction.
- Record Date: The date the instalment was entered
into the system.
- Record Time (Local Time): The
time the instalment was entered into the system.
5. Non-Loan Transactions This
section details financial entries not linked to a specific loan, such as
client-level journal entries or unallocated receipts.
- Transaction Date: The date of the non-loan
transaction.
- Event Number: The system's event number for the
transaction.
- Reference: The reference number for the
transaction.
- Description: A description of the transaction.
- Amount: The value of the transaction.
- Record User: The user who recorded the
transaction.
- Record Date: The date the transaction was
entered into the system.
- Record Time (Local Time): The
time the transaction was entered into the system.
Report Summary
- Amount Required to Settle All
Outstanding Loans: A final figure showing the total settlement amount
for all the client's active loans as of the report date.
Available Actions
- Back to Client Search
Results: Click this button
to return to the previous client search results screen.
- Email Report: Click this
button to send the generated report to the configured user email
address.
