Record Identifier (2N) 02

Transaction Type (2N) 01 = New Deduction. If the person has more than one deduction, a unique Reference Number is to be allocated for that person. Validated against pay number and national ID number. 02 = Change existing deduction value. A match will be made on Pay Number and Reference Number(must be unique for that Pay Number). 03 = Cancellation of a deduction, no further deductions to be made for a deduction matched on Reference Number(must be unique for that Pay Number)
