Allps Setups: DebiCheck

1. Once-Off Setups

This section outlines the initial configurations required for DebiCheck integration.


1.1 Payment Stream: DebiCheck

Follow these steps to set up the DebiCheck payment stream.


1.1.1 MaxCollect Module

Activate the MaxCollect Module for the legal entity in MaxAdmin, Product.

Ensure all necessary resources are enabled for the user's role in MaxMoney. These resources may include:


1.1.2 Ledgers

Typically, a ledger is set up for each Allps branch merchant account.

  1. In MaxMoney, set up the ledger for the Allps Merchant Account by navigating to Setups > Accounting > Financial Ledgers.

  2. Use a ledger code such as 6800-000x.

  3. Configure the following fields:

    • Description: Allps Merchant Bank Account

    • Control Account Type: Bank Sub-Ledger

    • Display in Financial Category: Bank Control Account

    • VAT Type: None


1.1.3 Events

Typically, an event is set up for each Allps branch merchant account.

  1. In MaxMoney, set up the event for the DebiCheck Receipt by navigating to Setups > Accounting > Financial Events.

  2. Configure the following fields:

    • Description: Allps DebiCheck Receipt

    • Transaction Description: Allps DebiCheck Receipt

    • Dr (Debit): 6800-000x Allps Merchant Bank Account

    • Cr (Credit): 6620-0000 Client Control Account

    • Event Attribute: DebiCheck Receipt


1.1.4 Cash Box Setups

Configure cash boxes to link the event to each cashier who requires access to that payback type.

  1. Navigate to Setups > Branches > Cash Boxes.

  2. Edit the desired Cash Box.

  3. Go to the Financial Event Tab.

  4. Select the receipt event and click Save.


1.1.5 Setup MaxCollect

Set up MaxCollect for DebiCheck.

  1. Navigate to Setups > MaxCollect > CSPs.

  2. Create a setup for DebiCheck.

  3. Configure the following fields:

    • Description: Allps DebiCheck Receipt (Indicate the branch name if setting up multiple branches.)

    • CSP: Allps

    • Enabled: Select this option.

    • Payer Fee/Aggregated Fees: Consult the owner regarding this option. If enabled, the borrower pays the transaction fee, not the legal entity. Aggregated fees involve an agreement between the borrower and Allps, requiring a card swipe and PIN.

    • Type of Authorization Required: Select an option from the list. This option can be selected on the Employer, Client, and Loan setup.

      • TT 1 RealTime: The borrower has 120 seconds to authorize the mandate via their cellphone.

      • TT 2 (Delayed): The merchant can submit a batch file for authorization. The borrower must authorize the mandate via their cellphone.

      • TT 3 (Real Time): The mandate will be authorized using a card and PIN.

      • TT 1 Delayed: The borrower has until the end of the business day to authorize the mandate via their cellphone.

    • Payback Type: DebiCheck Receipt

    • Receipt Event: Allps DebiCheck Receipt

    • Debit Value Type: Fixed (for short-term credit transactions)

    • Maximum Collection Rate: 1.5

    • Adjustment Category: Fixed (for short-term credit transactions)

    • Adjust Amount: 0 (for short-term credit transactions)

    • Adjustment Rate: 0 (for short-term credit transactions)

    • Allow Date Adjustment: Yes. A DebiCheck mandate can only be rescheduled if this option was selected when the loan was created.

    • Debit Sequence Type: Recurring (for more than one instalment)

    • Merchant Number: Allps branch code

    • Batch User: Select the batch user from the list.


2. Employer & Client

This section explains how to set up employers and clients for DebiCheck.


2.1 Setup Your Employers

Configure payback information for employers.


2.1.1 DebiCheck

  1. Navigate to the Payback Information section for the employer.

  2. Configure the following fields:

    • Payback Type: DebiCheck Receipt

    • Preferred CSP: Allps

    • Preferred CSP Setup: Allps DebiCheck Receipt

    • Tracking: Select tracking days.

    • Type of Authorization Required: Select from the list.

    • Authorization Indicator:

      • If Type of Authorization Required is TT 1 Realtime:

        • RealTime Authorization with Client Cellphone: Uses the client’s cellphone number, as entered in the system, to authorize the mandate.

        • RealTime Authorization with Bank Cellphone: Uses the client’s cellphone number, as entered in the applicable bank’s system, to authorize the mandate.

      • If Type of Authorization Required is TT 2:

        • Authorization Done: Delayed Authorization

      • If Type of Authorization Required is TT 3:

        • Authorization Done: Authorization Done

      • If Type of Authorization Required is TT 1 Delayed:

        • Authorization Done: Delayed Authorization


2.2 Setup Your Clients

Complete the required information for clients.


2.2.1 Setup Client Payback Information

Complete the payback information for the client.

  1. Configure the following fields:

    • Payback Type: DebiCheck Receipt

    • Preferred CSP: Allps

    • Preferred CSP Setup: Allps DebiCheck Receipt

    • Tracking: Select tracking days.

    • Type of Authorization Required: Select from the list.

    • Authorization Indicator: Select from the list.


2.2.2 Setup Client Banking Information

Complete the banking information for the client.


2.2.3 Setup Client Cellphone Number

Enter the client’s cellphone number under the Address tab.


3. New Loan

This section describes how to create new loans with DebiCheck payback instructions.


3.1 Create the Payback Instructions for the Loans

  1. Navigate to MaxMoney > Client Administration > New Loan.

  2. Set Payback Type to DebiCheck Receipt.

  3. Proceed with the loan creation as usual.

  4. On the MaxCollect section:

    • Select the Type of Authorization Required.

    • Select the Authorization Indicator.

  5. Finish the loan.


3.1.1 TT 1 RealTime New Loan

For a TT1 RealTime new loan:

DebiCheck Creation Messages:

  1. A Create Mandate message will be sent to create the Promissory on Allps.

  2. Allps will send the DebiCheck message to the borrower’s bank.

  3. The bank will send a DebiCheck authorization request to the borrower’s cellphone.

  4. The bank will send the DebiCheck authorization response to Allps, and Allps will send the response to MaxMoney.

  5. When the DebiCheck is authorized by the user, an Amend Mandate message will be sent to add the instalments on Allps.

  6. If applicable, a Payout message will be sent to pay the loan amount to the Client Account on Allps.


3.1.2 DebiCheck TT 3 New Loan

Follow the creation steps as usual. A message string will be available after the Finish button is pressed.


3.1.3 Convert to RMS

If the user did not authorize the TT1, the loan may be converted to an RMS.


3.1.4 TT2 (Delayed) New Loan

  1. Navigate to MaxMoney > Client Administration > New Loan.

  2. Set Status to Active.

  3. Set Payback Type to DebiCheck.

  4. Set Type of Authorization to TT2.

  5. Set Authorization Indicator to Delayed Authorization.

  6. Proceed through the steps.

  7. Select the Payment to Client method. For Allps eWallet or bank account payouts, refer to section 3.2.2.

  8. Finish.

  9. eSign the mandate if applicable, then Next.

  10. Sign the documentation and provide a copy to the client (Document Storage and eSignatures at Amplifin must be activated).

  11. Return to Client Search Results.

Before the borrower authorizes the debit order, the status will be "waiting for debtor."

Once the borrower has authorized the DebiCheck debit order:

  1. Go to Loans.

  2. Highlight the loan and navigate to Payback Instructions.

  3. Highlight the Payback Instruction and click Authenticate.

  4. Click Next. The system will request the status of the PN from Allps.

  5. Click on the "Payback Instruction" breadcrumb.

  6. The status of the Payback Instruction will be Active.


3.1.5 TT1 Delayed New Loan

Refer to section 3.1.4 for TT2 setup, as the process is similar.


3.2 Create the Payout Instruction

This section covers creating payout instructions for different DebiCheck types.


3.2.1 TT1 RT / TT3

The payout to the eWallet or bank account will be created automatically if the DebiCheck was successful.

As an extra check, set up the Allps portal “Future Client Deduction Required” to Yes.


3.2.2 TT2 / TT1 Delayed

The payout to the eWallet or bank account will not be executed automatically.

  1. The customer must first authorize the DebiCheck instruction. Refer to section 3.1.4 for TT2.

  2. After the authorized DebiCheck instruction has been checked in MaxMoney, the status of the payback instruction must be Active in MaxMoney.

  3. Navigate to MaxMoney > Client Administration > Loans.

  4. Highlight the Loan and click on Create Payout Instruction.

  5. Once the payout is successfully sent, the client confirmation document can be downloaded.


4. Receipts

DebiCheck receipts will be processed and posted automatically by MaxMoney.
