Editing an SMS Message

Overview

To edit an SMS message, navigate to Setups > MaxSMS > Messages. Then, select the specific message you wish to modify.

To access this feature, the MaxSMS General Setups resource must be activated for your user role.

SMS Sending Procedure

The SMS sending process works as follows:

  1. A client's outstanding installment(s) trigger the appropriate SMS message setup.
  2. After removing duplicate clients, entries without cellphone numbers, etc., the configured SMS message is sent.
  3. It is recommended that the {^Client Total Settlement Amount^} token be used in these messages to indicate the amount owed.
  4. This token will correspond with the receipt settlement amount on the SMS's send date, providing a clear reference for the user.
