SMS Setups: Users

This section details the necessary user-specific configurations to enable and manage SMS functionalities within MAXMONEY.

User Setup for SMS Functionality

To ensure users can properly utilize or receive SMS features, follow these steps:

1. Access User Settings: Go to Setup > Security > Users.

2. Edit User Details: Select and edit the relevant user.

3. Complete Essential Information:

   • Cell Phone Number: Make sure a cell phone number is accurately entered for the user. This is crucial for receiving OTPs and other SMS notifications.

   • Physical Address Country: Confirm that the correct country is selected in their physical address details.

4. Assign Roles: Ensure the user's assigned roles include the necessary MAXSMS resources (as outlined in the "SMS Setups: Roles" section).

User Setup for MIS Automatic SMSs

In addition to the general user setup, specific configurations are required to designate users who should receive Management Information System (MIS) automatic SMS reports:

1. Access MAXSMS Setup: Go to Setup > MAXSMS.

2. Configure MIS SMS Users:

   • MIS Management Daily (Per Merchant) SMS User: Select the specific users who are authorized to receive this daily management summary message. Remember to confirm that these selected users also have a cell phone number entered in their user profile.

   • MIS Cash Flow Daily (Per Merchant) SMS Users: Choose the users who should receive this daily cash flow summary message.

   • MIS Daily (Per Branch) SMS Users for (branch): Select the users designated to receive daily MIS summaries specific to a particular branch.

By following these setup procedures, you ensure that users have the correct permissions and that critical SMS communications reach the intended recipients.
