3. Using Funeral Insurance in MaxMoney

3.2 Funeral Insurance on a Client (Standalone)

You can also add and manage Funeral Insurance products directly on a client's profile, independent of a loan.

3.2.1 Setup the Beneficiary and the People Covered

This step is crucial for defining who benefits from and is covered by the insurance policy.

3.2.2 Add Funeral Insurance to the Client

  1. Navigate to: Client Administration > Search for a client > Edit Client > MAXUP.

  2. Click "Add a New MaxUp Payment".

  3. Complete Product Fields:

    • Maxup product: Select a Funeral Insurance product from the list.

    • Product Inception Date: Enter the start date of the product.

    • Click Save.

  4. Select Covered People: Choose the individuals who will be covered by this product from those added in the References section.

  5. Select Beneficiary: Designate the beneficiary for the policy.

  6. Print Documentation: Click the hyperlink to download and print the Insurance documentation.

3.2.3 Reprint the Funeral Insurance Documentation

To re-print previously generated funeral insurance documents:

  1. Navigate to: Client Administration > Search for a client > Edit Client > MAXUP.

  2. Highlight the product you wish to reprint.

  3. Click "Reprint MAXUP Document".

3.2.4 Remove the Funeral Insurance

To remove a funeral insurance product from a client's profile:

  1. Navigate to: Client Administration > Search for a client > Edit Client > MAXUP.

  2. Highlight the product you wish to remove.

  3. Click "Edit MAXUP Document".

  4. Click "Delete".
