Pending Disbursement
The Pending Disbursement status is an
intermediate stage in the loan lifecycle. It bridges the gap between the initial
Application status and the Active status. The Loan Lifecycle Flow: Application: The loan begins in the
Application status.
Pending Disbursement: A user manually
updates the loan to indicate it is ready for disbursement.
Active: Once the first payment is successfully received, the user
converts the loan to Active status and disburses the loan
amount and then receipts the payment.
To update a loan from Application status to
Pending Disbursement, follow these steps: Navigate to the Loan Update Screen
for the specific loan.
Ensure the current status is set to
Application. Note: You will see a
disabled "Pending Disbursement" checkbox. This serves as a status indicator
only.
Click the Set Pending Disbursement
button.
Note: This checkbox is only
visible if the loan is not yet in Pending Disbursement status and you have
the required permissions.
Upon clicking, the system will update the status
flag to True. The Detailed Loan Report (Enhanced) has been updated to
reflect this new status.
New Column: A Pending Disbursement column is now available on the
report.
Visibility: This column will only appear
for users who have the "Pending Disbursement Flag" resource
enabled.
