How to Print a 'Change to Client' Receipt

Navigation: Client Administration > Search for Existing Client > Highlight the Client > Transactions button > Print Change button

Overview

This function allows you to generate or reprint a transaction slip for a "Post Client Change" payout. This document serves as proof of the cash or change that was given to a client.


Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the Transactions Screen:

    • Go to Client Administration > Search for Existing Client.
    • Find and highlight the client, then click the Transactions button.
  2. Select the 'Change' Transaction:

    • From the list of transactions, find and highlight the specific "Post Client Change" transaction for which you need a receipt.
  3. Generate the Receipt:

    • Click the Print Change button.
    • The system will generate the transaction slip, which will open in a new browser tab.
  4. Print the Document:

    • Use your browser's standard print function (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) to create a physical copy. You can also use this function to "Save as PDF".

Understanding the 'Change to Client' Receipt Content

The generated document will contain the following detailed information:

Section Field Name Description
Company Details Name of the Legal Entity The name of your company.
Name of the branch The name of the branch that processed the transaction.
Reprint Details Date The date on which the receipt was reprinted.
Time The time at which the receipt was reprinted.
Original Transaction Transaction Description A description of the transaction (e.g., "Change paid out").
Transaction Date The date the payout originally took place.
Transaction Time The time the payout originally took place.
Reference Number The unique reference number assigned to the transaction.
Client The initials and surname of the client who received the change.
Financial Event The specific financial event that was used to process this transaction.
Amount Amount The exact monetary value of the change that was given to the client.
