Payroll Receipt Import Process
This section explains how to view logs for the bulk
import of receipts from payroll files.
Overview
Each time the payroll process is executed, a log
entry is created. You can view all processed payroll imports for a selected date
range.
To access these logs, navigate to
Processing > Logs > Payroll Process.
User Access
To ensure users can view these logs, the
appropriate role must be enabled:
- Go to Setup > Security >
Roles.
- Under the Processing section,
confirm that the Processing: View Logs option is selected for
the user's role.
Viewing the Log
A new log is created every time an import is
executed. You can choose to view logs for Today,
Yesterday, or All entries. The newest log
entries will always be displayed at the top.
To view logs within a specific period, select
your desired Date Range From and To dates,
then click the Submit tab.
Displayed Columns
The following information is displayed in the
log:
- Processing Date: The date on which the payroll
process was executed.
- Bank Account: The bank account of the legal
entity used for this process.
- Input File Layout: The layout that was used for
the imported payroll file.
- Output File Layout: The layout that was used for
the generated output file (if applicable).
- Number of Entries: The total number of entries
processed in the payroll file.
- Number of Successful
Entries: The number of entries that were successfully processed. You
can view the Report to see the details of these entries.
- Number of Failed Entries: The
number of entries that failed to process. You can view the
Log to see the reasons for these failures.
Actions
The following buttons are available to interact
with the log entries:
- Details: Click to view the individual entries
that were processed.
- Report: Click to view the original report on the
transactions that were successfully processed.
- Payroll Output File: Click to view the original
output file (if an output file was generated during the process).
- Log: Click to view the exact time the process
was executed, along with any errors that occurred and their descriptions.
- Back: Click to return to the
previous page.
