Repo Rate

Log for Repo Rate Changes to Loans

This section explains how to view logs for processes that apply repo rate changes to loans.

Overview

Whenever the repo rate changes, a process runs to apply these changes to loans where the Recalculate Loan on Repo Rate Change checkbox is selected. This setting can be found under Setups > Loan Related > Loan Products: Interest and Fees: Recalculate Loan on Repo Rate Change and Repo Rate Change Effect. Currently, this option is available for South African Loan Calculation Products that use the repo rate for interest calculations.

Each time this process is executed, a log entry is created. To access these logs, navigate to Processing > Logs > Repo Rate.

User Access

To ensure users can view these logs, the appropriate role must be enabled:

  1. Go to Setup > Security > Roles.
  2. Under the Processing section, confirm that the Processing: View Logs option is selected for the user's role.
