Detailed Loan

This section outlines the Detailed Loan Report, a comprehensive tool for tracking and analyzing loans created within a specified date range. This report is also available for consortiums.

Overview

The Detailed Loan Report provides an in-depth list of loans based on their creation date.

To access the report:

  • Single Entity: Go to Reporting > Loan > Detailed Loan Report.
  • Consortium: Reporting > Loan > Detailed Loan Report Combined

Note: The Security option for this report is configured under Setup > Security > Role.

  • Single Entity: Reporting: Detailed Loan Enhanced Report.

Report Filters

The report offers extensive selection options, allowing you to refine information down to the branch, salesperson, and specific date ranges.

General

  • Loan Branch: Generate the report for loans originated at a specific branch.

  • Region: Generate the report for loans created within a specific region.

  • User: Generate the report for loans created by a specific user.

  • Print Report: Select this option to generate the detailed report data.

  • File Format: Select the output file format: XLSX or XLS.

Client

  • Client Branch: Generate the report for loans of clients associated with a specific home branch.

  • Client Number Start and End: Filter for loans of clients within a specified client number range.

  • Client Status: Filter for loans of clients with a specific status.

  • Client Frequency: Filter for loans of clients with a specific payment frequency.

  • Bank: Filter for loans of clients associated with a specific bank.

Loan

  • Loan Number Start and End: Filter for specific loans within a specified loan number range.

  • Loan date Due Start and End: Filter for loans with instalments due within a specified period.

  • Loan Status: Filter for loans with a specific loan status.

  • Loan Product: Filter for loans associated with a specific loan product.

  • Payback Type: Filter for loans with a specific payback type.

  • Salesperson: Filter for loans associated with a specific salesperson.

Employer

  • Employer Search: To list all employers, use an asterisk (*). You can also type the full or partial employer name and click Search to populate the Employer drop-down list.

  • Employer: Generate the report for loans of clients associated with a specific employer.

  • Pay Point: Generate the report for loans of clients associated with a specific employer pay point.

  • Employer Classification: Filter by loans of clients whose employer has a specific classification.

  • Employer Economic Sector: Filter by loans of clients whose employer belongs to a specific economic sector.


Generating the Report

  • Finish: Click this button to generate the report.

  • Cancel: Click this button to cancel the report request.


Sorting and Display Order

The report output is primarily sorted by Agreement Date, then by Client Number, and finally by Loan Number.

Note: The Detailed Loan Report operates based on the transaction date when the loan was created, which typically corresponds to the loan amount's invoice date.


Output Format

Once the report is complete, click the hyperlink (e.g., "XLSX: Detailed Loan Report") to open it.

  • Spreadsheet: Reports in this format can be opened with software like Microsoft Excel or Open Office. This allows you to easily sort and analyze the information according to your business needs.

  • The report can also be emailed to a specific user, provided the necessary email address setups are complete.


Report Columns

The report includes the following detailed information:

Client Details

  • Client Number: The customer's unique client number in the system.

  • Original Client Number: (If data imported) The client number from the previous system.

  • Client Identification Number: The customer's ID number.

  • Date of Birth: The client's date of birth.

  • Gender: The client's gender.

  • Initials: The client's initial(s).

  • First Name: The client's first name.

  • Surname: The client's last name.

  • Status: The client's current status in the system.

  • Home Branch: The branch to which this client is linked.

  • Salesperson: The salesperson associated with this client.

  • Employee Number: The employee number associated with this client.

  • Juristic Person: Indicates if the client is a juristic person (True/False).

  • Gross Salary: The client's income before any deductions.

Loan Details

  • Agreement Date/Application Date: The agreement or application date for this specific loan.

  • Agreement No. (Loan No.): The unique agreement (loan) number.

  • Original Agreement No.: (If data imported) The original loan agreement number from the previous system.

  • Custom Reference: A reference number manually entered when creating the loan.

  • Status: The current status of this specific loan agreement.

  • Status Reason: If the loan status was changed, the reason provided for the change.

  • Number of Payments: The total number of instalments the customer will repay.

  • Number of Interest Periods: The number of interest periods for which the customer will repay.

  • Frequency: How regularly the client gets paid, determining the payback frequency for this loan.

  • Payback Type: How the customer will repay this specific loan.

  • Loan Product: The loan product used for this specific loan agreement.

  • Loan Amount: The capital amount borrowed by the customer.

  • Initiation Fee: The amount charged for the initiation fee (applicable to RSA NCA loans).

  • VAT on Initiation Fee: The VAT amount charged on the initiation fee.

  • Service Fee: The amount charged for the service fee (applicable to RSA NCA loans).

  • VAT on the Service Fee: The VAT amount charged on the service fee.

  • Administration Fee: The amount charged for the administration fee (applicable to compound/simple interest loans).

  • Preparation of Business Plan Fee: The amount charged for the preparation of business plan fee (applicable to compound/simple interest loans).

  • CPI Fee: The amount of the Credit Protection Insurance (CPI) fee (applicable if credit life insurance was enabled and applied to the loan).

  • Total Premium for Loan: The total premium amount for the loan, including VAT if applicable (applicable for GLP module and if insurance was applied).

  • In Default Service Fee: The amount charged for in-default service fees as of today's date (applicable only if the loan defaulted and after the final payment date for RSA NCA loans).

  • Default Interest: The amount charged for in-default interest as of today's date (applicable only if the loan defaulted and after the final payment date).

  • Interest/Profit: The total interest amount charged on this specific loan.

  • Interest/Profit Rate %: The interest rate at which the money was lent to the customer.

  • Loan Total: The sum of the principal debt, fees, interest, and costs (e.g., total amount of all repayments).

    • Calculation: Loan Capital + Initiation Fee + Services Fee + Service Fee VAT + Administration Fee (if applicable) + Preparation of Business Plan Fee (if applicable) + CPI Fee + In Defaulted Service Fee (if applicable) + In Default Interest (if applicable).

  • Receipts: The total payment amount(s) received on this specific loan.

  • Outstanding: The amount remaining outstanding on this specific loan.

    • Calculation: Loan Total (including default charges) - Receipts.

    • Loans with "Cancelled," "No Approved," "Written Off," or "Application" statuses will show a zero outstanding amount.

  • Total Variable Fees: The total amount of fees (applicable to variable charge type loans).

  • Total Variable Insurance: The total insurance amount (applicable to variable charge type loans).

  • Capital Outstanding: Conservatively calculated capital outstanding.

  • First Instalment Date: The date of the first payment on the loan.

  • Final Instalment Date: The date of the final payment on the loan.

  • Last Receipt Date: The date when the customer made the latest payment on the loan.

  • Total Overdue: The total amount currently in arrears, considering the instalment due date and grace period.

  • Loan Sales Person: The salesperson associated with this specific loan.

  • Loan Branch: The branch associated with this specific loan.

  • Purpose of the Loan: The stated purpose of the loan (often required for regulatory reporting).

  • Monthly Cost of Credit Rate: The monthly cost of credit rate for the loan.

  • Loan Province: The province where the loan was originated.

  • Payment to Client Event: Details related to the payment event to the client.

Employer Details

  • Name of Employer: The name of the client's employer associated with this loan.

  • Pay Point Name: The name of the employer's pay point.

  • Pay Point Number: The pay point's identification number.

Record Details

  • Creation User: The user who created the loan application.

  • Creation Date: The date on which the loan application was created.

  • Creation Time: The time when the loan application was created.


Notes

  • If a client is in arrears and there are in-default interest and fees charged, the Outstanding amount on this report will correspond to the arrears amount on the settlement statement.

  • If a client is not in arrears, or if there are no in-default interest and fees charged, the Outstanding amount will correspond directly with the settlement statement.

Subtotals and Totals

  • Branch Subtotals - No. of Client: The total number of clients per branch.

  • Branch Subtotals - No. of Loans: The total number of loans per branch.

  • Totals - No. of Clients: The total number of clients per Legal Entity.

  • Totals - No. of Loans: The total number of loans per Legal Entity.


Report Actions

  • Back to Filter Option: Select this button to cancel the current request and return to the previous page (filter selection).

  • Email Report: Select this button to receive this report via email.
