Portfolio at Risk (PAR)
Report
1. Overview
The Portfolio at Risk (PAR) Report provides a
comprehensive analysis of delinquent loan repayments. This report calculates PAR
percentages across various aging buckets (e.g., 30, 60, 90, and 120+ days) to
evaluate the overall quality of the loan portfolio.

3. Accessing the Report
To access the Portfolio at Risk Report:
- Navigate to Reporting.
- Select Administration.
- Click on Portfolio at Risk
Report.
4. Report Filters
Before generating the report, you may apply the
following filters to refine the results:
- Hide Loan Details: Select
this option to either print a summary or a detailed report.
- Branch: Specify a particular
branch to isolate its loan data.
- Region: Select a specific
region to view its loan portfolio.
- Loan Product: Filter the
report by a specific loan product.
- File Format: Choose the
desired output format for the report, either XLS or
XLSX.
- Date End: Select the end date
for the reporting period using the dd/mm/yyyy format.
5. Report Actions
The following actions are available:
- Finish: Click to generate the
PAR report based on the selected filters.
- Cancel: Click to cancel the
report generation and return to the previous page.
6. Output Options
The generated report can be utilized in the
following ways:
- Spreadsheet: Export the
report in a spreadsheet format (Excel or Open Office) for further analysis and
customization.
- Email: Send the report
directly to specified users. Ensure that email addresses are correctly
configured in the system.
7. Report Columns
The report is organized into the following
columns:
Loan Details:
- Loan No: The unique
identification number assigned to each loan.
- Outstanding Loan Balance: The
current remaining balance of the loan.
- Missed Instalments: The total
number of missed payments for the loan.
- Percentage: The percentage of
the outstanding loan balance that is past its due date.
Portfolio at Risk:
- PAR30: The percentage of
loans that are 30 days past due.
- PAR60: The percentage of
loans that are 60 days past due.
- PAR90: The percentage of
loans that are 90 days past due.
- PAR120+: The percentage of
loans that are 120 or more days past due.
Totals:
- Total Missed Instalments: The
sum of all missed instalments across all loans.
- Total Outstanding Loan
Balance: The total outstanding balance of all loans in the
report.
- Total Current: The total
amount of balances that are not yet due.
- Total Debtors Balance: The
total balance owed by all debtors.
- Total Change: The total
change in the debtors' balance over the reporting period.
- Total Non-Loan Debt: The
total amount of debt not related to loans.
- Actual Debtors Balance: The
actual current balance of all debtors.
Summary:
- Overall Portfolio at Risk:
The overall percentage of the loan portfolio that is considered at risk.
- PAR Over 30 (%): The
percentage of loans that are more than 30 days past due.
- PAR Over 60 (%): The
percentage of loans that are more than 60 days past due.
- PAR Over 90 (%): The
percentage of loans that are more than 90 days past due.
8. Additional Features
- Back to Filter Option:
Allows the user to return to the previous screen to adjust the report
filters.
- Email Report: Provides the
functionality to email the generated report to pre-configured email
addresses.
