Edit a Branch
This section explains how to edit the details of an
existing branch within the system.
Overview
To edit a branch, go to Setups >
Branches > Edit Branch.
Here you can fill in or update the specific
information for the selected branch.
Branch Information
- Branch Name: This is a
required field. Enter the full name of the branch. Please
avoid using any special characters, as these can cause errors when posting receipts.
- Branch Code: This is a
required field. Enter the unique code for the
branch.
- Telephone Number: Enter the branch's contact
telephone number.
- Fax Number: Enter the branch's fax number.
- Physical Address Line 1
(House/Building): Enter
the first line of the branch's physical address.
- Physical Address Line 2
(Street): Enter the
second line of the branch's physical address.
- Physical Address Line 3
(Town): Enter the town
for the branch's physical address.
- Physical Address Province: Select the province
where the branch is located from the dropdown list. The available provinces
will correspond to the country selected in your legal entity setup.
- Region: Select a region from the dropdown list.
Note that this list must be configured in advance by the GSA.
- Physical Address Area: Enter the specific area
under which the branch falls.
- Address Code: Enter the address code.
- Postal Address Line 1 (P O Box /
Private Bag / House): Enter the first line of the branch's postal address.
- Postal Address Line 2
(Street): Enter the second
line of the branch's postal address.
- Postal Address Line 3 (Town): Enter the town for
the branch's postal address.
- Postal Address Province: Select the province from
the list for the postal address.
- Postal Address Area: Enter the specific area for
the postal address.
- Postal Code: Enter the postal
code for the branch.
Available Buttons
- Save: Click this button to permanently store the
updated information.
- Cancel: Click this button to
discard any changes and return to the previous screen.
