Layout
Path: Setup > [Highlight
the File Layout] > Detail > Add a New Detail Entry
This section explains how to add individual
columns to your file layouts, which are used for payroll and payout
processes.
Steps to Add a New Column
- Provide the following details for the new
column:
- Description: Enter the
heading or a brief description of the column.
- Column Number: Enter the
sequence number for this column as it will appear in the file.
- Linking Column: Select
this checkbox if this column will contain information used to link the
file's data back to MAXMONEY records (e.g., a client ID number).
- Type: Indicate the data
type of the column (e.g., text, number, date, amount, generic value, fixed
value, import value or replacement token, replacement token).

file.
- Value Length Limit: Specify
the maximum number of characters allowed for this column.
Buttons
- Save: Click this button to
save the new column information to the database.
