This section explains how to predefine reasons for cash-up discrepancies.

Overview

To manage cash-up reasons, go to Setup > Cash Up Reason.

Security Note: The Security option for "Cash Up Reason" is located under the Report Section of the Role Setup.

When a cash box doesn't balance, the user is required to provide a reason. Here, you can predefine a list of standard reasons to choose from.

Managing Cash-up Reasons

You have several options for managing cash-up reasons:

• Add a New Cash Up Reason: Click the Add a New Cash Up Reason button to add a new reason to the list.
• Edit/Change an existing Cash Up Reason: To modify an existing reason, click the Edit Cash Up Reason button.
• Print Cash Up Reasons: Click the Print button to generate a report of all configured cash-up reasons.
• View Cash Up Reasons: The following columns are available for viewing cash-up reasons:
  • Reason: This is a required field. Enter a standard reason for cash-up imbalances.
  • Enabled: Select this checkbox if users are allowed to use this reason.
