This section explains how to modify an existing column within your file layouts.

Steps to Edit a Detail Entry

1. Click on Edit Detail Entry.
2. Adjust the following fields as needed:
   • Description: Enter or update the heading/description for the column.
   • Column Number: Enter or update the sequence number of the column.
   • Linking Column: Select this checkbox if this column contains information that links the file line back to MAXMONEY.
   • Type: Indicate the data type of the column.
   • Value: If the column has a fixed value or uses a token, enter/update the value or token. A token is a placeholder for a MAXMONEY field (e.g., a borrower's name) that will automatically insert data into the file.
   • Value Length Limit: Specify the maximum number of characters allowed for this column.

Buttons

• Save: Click this button to save your changes to the database.
• Cancel: Click this button if you don't want to save the information and wish to return to the previous screen.
