This section outlines how to set up and manage
letters within the MaxMoney system, including user permissions, letter
configuration, and merge fields.
1 Resources
Users require specific
security resources to access and utilize the letter functionalities. These
resources are assigned under MaxMoney > Setups
> Security >
Roles.
For users who need to use individual

2 Letter Setup
To set up and edit letters, follow these
steps:

- Navigate to Setups -
Letters.
- Select a letter from the list to view or edit
its content.
3 Letter Merge Fields
Merge fields, also known as "tokens," can be
inserted into letter documents to automatically pull specific values from the
system. These fields are organized into groups for ease of use.
The primary group for letters is
Settlement. Below are the available merge fields within this
group:
- Change: Displays the value of the change owed to
the client, as shown on the client summary page.
- Client Debtors Amount:
Represents the sum of transaction amounts for the client as of the selected
Selected Debtors Balance Date.
- Client Total Outstanding Loan
Amount: Shows the
total outstanding amount across all of the client's loans.
- Client Total Settlement
Amount: Displays the total settlement amount for all outstanding
loans of the client as of the Selected Settlement Date.
- Date Today: Inserts the current date.
- Date today plus 30 days: Inserts today's date
plus 30 days.
- Date today plus 7 days: Inserts today's date
plus 7 days.
- Last payment date: Displays the most recent date
a payment was received.
- Loan current total amount
received: Shows the
total amount received on the specific loan.
- Loan in default interest amount and
service fee:
Represents the charges (excluding VAT) on the loan due to arrears or late
payments.
- Loan in default interest amount and
total service fee: Represents the charges (including VAT) on the loan due to
arrears or late payments.
- Loan transaction balance: Shows the sum of
transaction amounts on the specific loan.
- Non-loan debits: Displays the current
outstanding debit amounts for the client that are not loan-related, as shown
on the client summary page.
- Selected debtors balance
date: The date chosen
for the client's certificate of balance letter.
- Selected settlement amount:
The settlement amount for the specific loan as of the Selected
Settlement Date.
- Selected settlement date: The date chosen for
the settlement letter.
- Creditor signature: Inserts
the creditor's plain signature:
