Personalised Statement Setup

This section explains how to set up and customize the letters within the system.


Overview

The Letters letters are generated upon a client's request. You can create your own custom letter using an empty document template.

Editing a Letter

To create or edit a Final Payment letter:

  1. Go to Setup > Letters > Personalised Statement .
  2. Click on an existing document to edit it, or create a new one.
  3. Name: Give the letter a short, descriptive name.

Editor Functions

The letter editor provides various tools for creating and formatting your document:

  • Icons: Hover your mouse over the icons to view their tooltips and understand their functions. Common options include:
    • Cut
    • Copy
    • Paste
    • Preview
    • Find
    • Replace
    • Bold
    • Italic
    • Underline
    • Numbered List
    • Bulleted List
    • Indentation
    • Justification
    • Font
    • Font Size
    • And more.
  • Typing/Editing: Click anywhere in the white editing space to place your cursor and begin typing or editing your content.
  • HTML Documents: If you have an HTML source code for your document, click on theSource-icon, paste your HTML code into the editor, and then click the Source-icon again to display your document.

Document Groups and Merge Fields (Tokens)

The Choose Document Group option displays a list of Token (merge field) groups. These tokens can be inserted into your document to automatically pull specific data from the system.

The following merge field groups are available for the letters:

  • Branch
  • Client
  • Client Preferred Payback Bank Account
  • Employer
  • Legal Entity
  • Settlement
