Editing a Beneficiary for Third-Party
Payments
This section explains how to modify an existing
third-party payment beneficiary.
Overview
You can update the contact details and bank
account information for an existing third-party payment beneficiary.
Beneficiaries are listed in alphabetical order for easy searching.
Procedure
- Navigate to Setup > Loan Related
> 3rd Party Payment.
- Click the Edit Beneficiary
button next to the beneficiary you wish to modify.
General Information
Update the following fields in the
GENERAL section as needed:
- Organisation Name: The name
of the organization or individual beneficiary.
- Contact Person: The contact
person's name at the organization.
- Work Telephone Number: The
organization's work telephone number.
- E-mail Address: The
organization's email address.
- Description: A short
description for reference.
Account Information
Update the following fields in the
ACCOUNT INFORMATION section as needed:
- Bank: Select the
beneficiary's bank name from the dropdown list. This is a
required field.
- Branch Search:
- To find a branch code, enter an asterisk (*)
and click the Search button.
- Alternatively, enter the specific
branch code (without spaces) and click the
Search button.
- Branch Select: This field
will automatically populate after a successful branch search. Select the
preferred branch from the options.
- Branch Code: This field will
automatically populate with the corresponding branch code after a successful
branch search.
- Bank Account Type: Select
the bank account type from the dropdown list. This is a
required field.
- Bank Account Number: Enter
the bank account number, ensuring no spaces. This is a
required field.
- Bank Reference: The bank
reference for your internal records.
Actions
- Save: Click the
Save button to apply your changes and update the beneficiary
information in the database.
- Cancel: Click the
Cancel button if you do not wish to save the changes and want
to return to the previous screen.
