Editing an SMS Message
Overview
To edit an SMS
message, navigate to Setups > MaxSMS >
Messages. Then, select the
specific message you wish to modify.
To access this
feature, the MaxSMS General Setups resource
must be activated for your user role.
Message
Configuration
The following
options and information will appear on your screen:
- Choose Document Group: Click the dropdown list to
select the relevant document group.
- Insert Merge Fields from here: Use this dropdown
to insert specific Merge Fields (tokens)
into your message. These tokens will automatically pull client-specific
details.
- Important: When using a token, always ensure
there is a space before and after the token. Do not start a message directly
with a token.
MAXSMS MESSAGES SETUP
- MaxSMS Message:
Type your customized SMS
message here. There will be a default message here.
- You can
enter a personalized message of up to 160 characters. This message will be
sent to clients with outstanding installments.
SMS Sending Procedure
The SMS sending
process works as follows:
- A full payment from a client with a
good status will trigger the appropriate SMS message.
- After
removing duplicate clients, entries without cellphone numbers, etc., the
configured SMS message is sent.

Record
Details
This section
displays the update history for the SMS message:
- Update History: Username: The username of the
person who last updated the information.
- Update History: Date: The date when the
information was last updated.
- Update History: Time: The time when the
information was last updated.
Available
Buttons
- Cancel: Click this button to return to the
previous page without saving any changes.
- Save: Click this button to save your changes and
continue.
