Overview
Mycomax will initially create your Legal
Entity. They will also create and link one of your users with
GSA (Group Setup Administrator) access for each Legal Entity.
The GSA for your Legal Entity is responsible for all subsequent setups,
including the Legal Entity details, Branches, and Users. Tip: Use the breadcrumbs at the
top of the screen to easily navigate through the system. Here's a checklist of key configurations: Ensure a loan agreement
document is set up and configured to print with all new
loans. Create Security Roles (which
define user rights and access levels), add your users, and link them to the
appropriate roles. Verify that loan products
have been set up and that all users who will create loans have access to these
products. Change the passwords for all cash
boxes and link the necessary events (sources) to each. If you plan to use any of the
features, make sure to add all necessary information within their respective
setup sections.
Some system settings are specific to each
country. When Mycomax creates your legal entity, they will link it to a country,
which automatically activates these country-specific settings. The database server operates on GMT
time. The country table includes the GMT Offset for
each country, as well as an indicator for daylight saving time.
A separate table contains the start and end dates for daylight saving time and
its effect on the GMT offset. Dates and times displayed within the system and
on reports will be automatically adjusted to show the correct date and time,
based on the GMT Offset and daylight saving time settings of the country your
legal entity is linked to.Setup Overview
