MAXCHAT Setup

This section provides an overview of how to set up and configure the MAXCHAT module.


Overview

The MAXCHAT module enables internal text messaging within your legal entity. This functionality can be restricted to specific branch levels and can be integrated with Workflow. Before you can access these settings, the MAXCHAT module must be enabled on the Legal Entity, and your General Security Administrator (GSA) needs to enable the relevant user roles under Setup > Security > Roles.


Accessing MAXCHAT Setup

To begin setting up MAXCHAT:

  1. Navigate to Setup > MAXCHAT.

Security

Access to the MAXCHAT setup is controlled through the Setup Section of your user role, specifically under Setup > MaxMedia General Setup.


Required Roles

Your GSA must enable the following roles for users who will manage or use MAXCHAT:


General Settings

To configure the general settings for MAXCHAT :

  1. Click on the General button.
