New Loan: Final Step - Summary and
Confirmation
Overview
This is the final review screen in the New Loan wizard. It
provides a comprehensive summary of all the loan details you have entered across
the previous steps. It is critical to carefully review all information on this
page for accuracy before finalizing and creating the loan.
Special Feature: Electronic Signatures
(eSign)
If your system is configured for electronic signatures (e.g.,
with an Allps USB terminal), you will be prompted to capture signatures after
completing this screen for the following documents:

Navigation
This is the final screen in the New Loan wizard.
- Navigate to Client Administration >
Search for Existing Client.
- Select the desired client and click
New Loan.
- Proceed through all previous steps of the
wizard.
Understanding the Summary
Page
The summary is broken down into several sections for
clarity.
TRANSACTION
- Payment to Client: Specifies how the loan capital will be paid to the client (e.g.,
Cash, EFT, RTC).
- Reference Number: The reference number for the transaction in the General
Ledger.
- Transaction Date: The date of the transaction. This will default to the Agreement
Date but can be changed if you have the necessary permissions.
- Application Date: The date the client applied for the loan.
- Agreement Date: The date the client signed the loan agreement.
- Cashbox Available: Displays the
current available balance in the selected cashbox.
COST OF CREDIT
- Interest Amount: The total interest charged over the loan term.
- Total Initiation Fee: The total initiation fee, including VAT if applicable.
- Total Monthly Service Fee: The sum of all monthly service fees for the loan term, including
VAT if applicable.
- Total Administration Fee: The total administration fee charged.
- Total Preparation of Business Plan
Fee: The total fee for business plan preparation.
- Total Cost of Credit
Charged: The sum of the principal loan amount plus all applicable
fees and interest.
- Annual Rate of Total Credit: The automatically calculated annual interest rate, including
all costs.
- Credit Cost Multiple: An
automatically calculated value representing the total cost of credit as a
multiple of the principal loan amount.
INSTALMENT
- First Instalment Agreed Date: The due date for the first repayment.
- First Instalment Agreed
Amount: The amount of the first repayment.
- Instalment Amount: The standard amount for subsequent repayments.
- Final Instalment Agreed Date: The due date for the final repayment.
- Final Instalment Amount: The
amount of the final repayment, which may differ due to
rounding.
LOAN TOTALS
- Loan Amount:
The principal capital amount borrowed by the client.
- Number of Interest Periods: The total number of periods (e.g., months) over which the
loan will be repaid.
- Loan Total:
The total amount of all repayments (Principal + Fees + Interest).
- Credit Control Amount: The maximum amount the client is permitted to borrow based on
credit control setups. An error will be displayed here if the loan exceeds
this limit.
- Payout to 3rd Party: The total amount being paid to third-party beneficiaries from
the loan.
- Payout to Client: The final net
amount that will be paid directly to the client.
CREDIT PROTECTION
INSURANCE
- Service Provider: The name of the insurance provider (e.g., ASPIS).
- Product: The
name of the specific insurance product (e.g., Ashphile).
- Total Credit Protection Insurance
Premiums: The total cost of the insurance premiums for the loan
term.
MAXUP
- MAXUP Total Products: The total value of any MAXUP products added.
- MAXUP Total Monthly Fee: The total
monthly fee for any MAXUP products.
MAXCOLLECT
PARAMETERS
- Preferred Bank Account: The client's bank account designated for collection.
- Preferred CSP: The Collection Service Provider used for repayments (e.g., Real
Pay).
- Preferred CSP Setup: The specific collection method being used (e.g., Real Pay
EnDO).
- Action Time:
The time of day the collection will be processed.
- Tracking: The number of days the
CSP will track the account for funds.
WORKFLOW
- Workflow Status: Can be
changed to
Reject Override or Approved Override if you
have the necessary permissions.
- Workflow Override Reason: A
mandatory field if the workflow status is overridden.
RECORD DETAILS (Audit
Trail)
This section displays non-editable, system-generated information
for tracking and auditing purposes.
- Id: The
unique Loan Transaction ID.
- Import Date / Original Loan
Number: Applies only to imported loan agreements.
- Record Date/Time/User: Who created the loan and when.
- Update Date/Time/User: Who last updated the loan and
when.
Common Errors on this
Screen
- "The Promissory Note Could not be
created. Invalid Bank Branch Code": This Allps
integration error indicates an incorrect branch code in the client's banking
details. You must go back to the client's profile and correct it.
- Errors with Special
Characters: If a client's name contains special characters (e.g., é,
ç), it may cause an error when registering a NAEDO
instruction.
Available Actions
(Buttons)
- Finish:
Click this button to save all information and formally create the loan in the
system.
- TechnoMetrix Loan
Validation: Proceeds to the TechnoMetrix OTP validation screen.
- Back:
Returns to the previous step of the wizard.
- Cancel:
Exits the New Loan wizard without saving. No loan will be created.
