New Loan: Step 4 - Payment Collection
(MaxCollect)
Overview
This screen configures the automatic payment
collection details for the loan through a third-party Collection Service
Provider (CSP). Here, you will link the client's bank account to a specific CSP
setup and define the parameters for the collection, such as tracking days and
partial payment rules.
Important: This screen is
conditional. It will only appear in the New Loan wizard if the
MaxCollect module is enabled for your entity and a
MaxCollect-compatible Payback Type (e.g., DebiCheck, RealPay
Receipt) was selected on the first screen.
Prerequisites & Integration
Partners
- CSP Procedures: When using a specific Collection
Service Provider, you must follow the procedures required for that integration
partner (e.g., Allps, RealPay, SureSystem, Amber).
- "No CSP" Option: A "No CSP"
option is available. If a client's preferred CSP is set to "No CSP" on their
profile, this entire screen will be skipped during loan creation, and no
automatic payback instructions will be created.
Navigation
This screen is the fourth step in the New Loan
wizard.
- Navigate to Client Administration >
Search for Existing Client.
- Select the desired client and click
New Loan.
- Complete the preceding screens and click
Next.
Field Descriptions
Primary Collection Setup
- Preferred Bank Account: This is a required
field. Select the client's bank account from which the repayments will be
deducted.
- Preferred CSP: This is a required field. Select
the Collection Service Provider who will facilitate the collection. The list
is filtered to only show CSPs that support the selected Payback Type.
- Preferred CSP Setup: This is a
required field. Select the specific configuration for the chosen CSP.
- Default Logic: The system
defaults this value based on the following priority:
- It will
automatically select the setup saved on the client's profile if it matches
the chosen Payback Type and CSP.
- If there is no match, it will select the
CSP's "preferred choice" or default setup.
- You can manually change the selected setup
from the dropdown list.
Collection Parameters
- Tracking: This is a required field. Specify the
number of days the CSP should check the client's account for sufficient funds
after the initial due date.
- CSP Partial Amount Interest and
Fees: Enter the
partial amount to be collected specifically for interest and fees, if
applicable.
- CSP Partial Custom Amount:
Enter a custom partial amount to be collected. This amount cannot be more than
the loan's capital amount.
Payer Fees (Intecon)
- Payer Fee: Tick this box
when the client has agreed to pay the successful transaction fee (e.g., in an
agreement with Intecon).
- Note: Due to compliance
requirements, this field cannot be defaulted to "ticked". It must be
actively selected.
- Aggregated: To enable the "Payer Fee" option,
the "Aggregated" fee selection must be active on the chosen CSP Setup.
- Payer CSP Fee Contribution
Percentage: If applicable, complete the contribution percentage for
the CSP Payer Fee.
Split Payments (MULTIPAY)
This feature allows you to split a single loan
repayment into multiple payment instructions (mandates).
- Multipay: Tick to enable the feature. This
requires pre-setup.
- Number of MULTIPAYs: Specify
how many separate mandates will be created for the instalment. For example,
entering
2 will split the repayment into two separate
collections.
- Minimum MULTIPAY Amount: This
feature may only be available for loan amounts greater than a minimum
threshold configured in the MaxCollect setup.
GPRS Terminal Integration
- If using a GPRS terminal for authentication,
you may encounter an error:
"Client and Loan Does not Match" - Please
Retry your loan". This indicates a mismatch and requires you to restart
the process.

Available Actions
(Buttons)
- Next: Proceeds to the next step in the New Loan
wizard.
- Back: Returns to the previous page.
- Cancel: Exits the New Loan
wizard without creating a loan and returns to the client search
page.
