Managing Payment Collection Instructions (MaxCollect)

Navigation: Client Administration > Search for an Existing Client > Highlight the Client > Payback Instructions

Overview

This screen provides a central hub for viewing and managing all automated payment collection instructions (such as AEDO, NAEDO, or DebiCheck) for a selected client. From here, you can review the status of all instructions, edit them, view their history, and interact directly with the Collection Service Provider (CSP).


How to View Payback Instructions

  1. Find and Select the Client: Navigate to Client Administration > Search for an Existing Client. Find the correct client and click on their name to highlight them.
  2. Open the Instructions Screen: Click the Payback Instructions button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Filter the List:
    • By Date: Use the date range filters to view only the instructions created within a specific period.
    • By Search: Use the Search bar to find a specific instruction by typing in any value from the columns (e.g., a Loan Number, a Status like "active", or a Payback Type).

Understanding the Payback Instructions List

The list of instructions will be displayed with the following columns of information:

Column Name Description
Home Branch The client's home branch.
Loan Number The loan number to which this instruction is linked.
CSP Reference The unique reference number for this instruction provided by the Collection Service Provider (CSP).
Reference The internal reference number for this instruction within MAXMONEY.
Status The current status of the instruction (e.g., "Active," "Not Loaded," "Cancelled").
Payback Type The method of payment collection (e.g., "AEDO Receipt," "DebiCheck Receipt").
CSP Setup The specific CSP configuration that was used for this instruction.
Record User The username of the person who created the instruction.
Record Date The date on which the instruction was created.
Record Time The time at which the instruction was created.

Available Actions

After highlighting a specific instruction from the list, you can use the following buttons to perform various actions:

 Edit Payback Instruction  Opens the instruction details for editing .  Edit Instruction
 Payback Instruction Instalments  Displays a detailed breakdown of all the individual instalments included in this instruction  Instruction Instalment
 Histories  Shows a complete audit trail and history log for the selected instruction  Histories
 CSP Enquiry  Performs a real-time status check with the Collection Service Provider for the selected instruction  CSP Enquiry
 Authenticate  Initiates the authentication process for an instruction, typically used for those with a "Not Loaded" or "Cancelled" status  Authentication
 Back  Closes the Payback Instructions screen and returns you to the previous page
